BankVibe gave me a heads up on a special deal with BECU (Boeing Employee’s Credit Union) which is offering it’s customers a 7.25% interest rate on newly established checking and savings accounts. The catch is that the maximum amount that could earn you the high interest rate is $500. Furthermore when you apply online for membership, a minimum opening deposit(s) of $5 is required at the time of application.

Theres always a catch somewhere. Give me a bank that offers a great rate without restrictions, low minimums, minimal fees, and easy access to my funds.
My money is on bankaholic.com or hotratenews.com. I have always loved the way they cut to the chase.
