$100 Bank Bonus Deal at Sovereign Bank

Sovereign Bank is currently running a $100 bank bonus deal, expiring on May 22, 2009.

Offer Details:

-Open a new Sovereign Premier Checking, Business Owner Premier Checking, Interest Checking or Partnership Checking account by May 22
-The minimum opening deposit is $10; new account holders must also request a Sovereign CheckCard
- You have to make make 6 Sovereign CheckCard purchases totaling at least $250 within 60 days after you open your account in order to qualify for the bonus

As usual it is important to avoid fees. The Premier account is good if you plan on holding more than $15,000 in it, otherwise you are charged a steep $25 monthly fee.
The interest checking account is good if you plan on opening an account with less than $15,000. There is no monthly fee with direct deposit, otherwis $5/month.
