$100 Chase Checking Bonus is back!

Chase has a new $100 bank bonus for customers who open a checking account between October 15 and December 31, 2009. Check below for more details: (Source: Chase)

- To qualify for the bonus you must open a new Chase CheckingSM account with a $100 minimum deposit of new money.
-Within 60 days of account opening you must initiate a monthly direct deposit which includes payroll, pension, Social Security or other government benefits, or make five debit card purchases.
- The bonus will be automatically deposited into your new account within 10 business days after the initial direct deposit or five debit card purchases have posted to your account.
-Offer not available to existing Chase checking customers.

We have something similar in Canada, but then they don't tell you that there's a monthly fee slapped on the account if you hold less than $1000 or $5000
