The problem with this offer is that they pull a hard credit report on you to give you a "cash advance line of credit" or some such nonsense now. I didn't see it disclosed anywhere on the application but when I applied but I was denied the checking account because I have bad credit (I've never been denied a checking account before). So for some people, this is a bad deal...these lines of credit things attached to a debit card seem to be the lastest scam down at the banks.
